Titan XI: Closed Beta Notice

During live beta testing, several serious exploits were discovered that may have compromised server integrity and gameplay fairness. As a precaution, Titan XI has temporarily transitioned to a closed beta while we investigate the extent of these issues, address vulnerabilities, and restore a fair and stable experience for everyone.

Server reopening is currently TBA. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward welcoming adventurers back to Vana’diel.

Website Main Menu Polished

Redesigned the header Main Menu popup as a compact MMO-style navigation panel with grouped sections, parchment text, muted-gold accents, softer transparency and a quick fade/drop open animation.

The menu keeps the same destination links and close behavior while anchoring directly beneath the Main Menu button with improved hover and keyboard focus states.

Website Home Button Restored

Removed the hanging banner flag header experiment and restored the homepage link as a normal square header button.

The new home button uses the white Titan icon artwork and sits directly beside the online player button while matching the Discord, World and Main Menu header button style.

Website Main Menu Button Added

Added a new header menu button beside the Discord and World buttons using the new Titan main menu icon artwork.

The button opens a compact navigation panel with links to About, Getting Started, Rules, World Time, World Activities, Characters, Development Logs and Account while preserving the existing header style.

Website Banner Flag Home Link Added

Replaced the small top-left home refresh button with the new Titan hanging banner flag artwork so the header has a stronger visual anchor while still linking back to the homepage.

The banner is aligned into the header and allowed to hang below it on desktop and mobile without changing the approved page layout, navigation structure or main website design.

VPS Disk Hygiene Rule Added

Added a standing production-maintenance rule requiring disk checks before and after VPS deployments, package uploads, activations, database backups and similar server work.

Future updates must clean temporary staging folders, partial uploads and obsolete release artifacts after verification, or archive needed material to the NAS with a timestamped README before removing it from the VPS.

The rule also requires copied file counts and byte totals to be verified before deletion, and blocks broad cleanup of protected backups or credential-bearing files without a safer explicit plan.

Phoenix Region Placement Import Prepared

Prepared a placement-only import from the current Phoenix data snapshot so Titan enemies can use Phoenix-style named spawn regions instead of many fixed single-point positions. This is meant to help large rooms and field areas feel properly populated without changing Titan custom behavior.

The import updates 165 zone mob placement files and adds or updates 163 matching region files. It keeps Titan scripts, NM respawn timers, WotG NM activations, drops, SQL data, NPCs, mob templates and behavior tuning out of scope.

Live activation is pending production staging and an empty-server restart.

TitanGambits Ark Angel Alias Audit Completed

Audited the Ark Angel Trust party-name variants after ArkMR was reported as read-only. TitanGambits now resolves compact, spaced and Ark Angel long-form names through a shared alias helper before deciding whether a party slot is a Trust or a real player.

The covered aliases include ArkEV, ArkGK, ArkHM, ArkMR and ArkTT, plus their Ark Angel long-form variants, so all five Ark Angel Trusts remain editable from their Gambit sheets.

TitanGambits Ark Angel Party Recognition Fixed

Updated TitanGambits Trust recognition so compact Ark Angel party names such as ArkGK are treated as controllable Trusts instead of read-only real players.

The alias coverage now includes ArkEV, ArkGK, ArkHM, ArkMR and ArkTT, with a focused static guard to keep those party-name variants mapped to their Trust entries.
