Titan XI: Closed Beta Notice

During live beta testing, several serious exploits were discovered that may have compromised server integrity and gameplay fairness. As a precaution, Titan XI has temporarily transitioned to a closed beta while we investigate the extent of these issues, address vulnerabilities, and restore a fair and stable experience for everyone.

Server reopening is currently TBA. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward welcoming adventurers back to Vana’diel.

Launcher Automatic Patch Checks

Published Titan Launcher 1.5.27 so an open launcher automatically checks for launcher and client updates every 15 minutes instead of only checking when Play or Check Files is pressed.

Automatic checks reuse the normal verified patch path and skip client-file updates while FFXI, PlayOnline or xiloader is active, letting an idle launcher stay current overnight without modifying game files under a running client. No game-service restart is required for this launcher-only update.

Launcher Stays Open After Play

Published Titan Launcher 1.5.26 so pressing Play no longer closes the launcher after the FFXI game window is detected.

The launcher still checks for updates, verifies client files, starts Ashita and cleans up temporary launch tickets normally, but now remains available for status, settings and follow-up actions after the game starts. No game-service restart is required for this launcher-only update.

Launcher Proportional Resizing

Published Titan Launcher 1.5.25 with the old automatic 1.5x and 2x monitor-based launcher sizing removed. The launcher now opens at its normal 1280 x 720 base size instead of forcing a larger window on higher-resolution displays.

The launcher window can now be resized from its custom border edges and corners while preserving the 16:9 layout. The full UI scales proportionally from the 1280 x 720 base canvas, with edge-drag resizing constrained to keep the layout from stretching or distorting. No game-service restart is required for this launcher-only update.

Custom Trust Ranged Attack Fix

Updated Custom Trust ranged combat so Ranger and Corsair profiles use a real ranged weapon slot for their native ranged attack state instead of relying only on visual bow or gun appearance.

The shared Custom Trust ranged primitive now only consumes an AI action tick when the native ranged attack state actually starts, preserving legacy Trust behavior and supporting bow and gun firing animations, ranged damage and TP generation.

Custom Trust Engage Stability Fix

Updated Custom Trust combat engagement so recruited Trusts sync to their master's active battle target more cleanly and do not let same-tick follow or formation movement fight the newly entered combat state.

Added temporary Custom-Trust-only diagnostics around engage, target validation, disengage and appearance refresh paths to track engage transitions and visual refresh noise without affecting legacy Trust behavior.

Titan Features Copy Updated

Updated the homepage Titan Features section to better reflect Titan's current design pillars: authentic level 75 progression, living world systems, discovery-based travel, and Custom Trust companions that behave more like real party members than summoned NPCs.

The Trust feature card now uses the Living Custom Trust System title and describes generated adventurers, rotating Tank, Healer and DPS anchor rosters, persistent recruitment identity, job-specific AI, support coordination and pet/avatar/automaton behavior. No game-service restart is required for this website-only update.

Trust Showcase Copy Updated

Updated the homepage Trust showcase to describe Titan's Custom Trust roster as generated adventurers with persistent names, races, appearances, job roles, Artifact Armor and role-appropriate equipment.

The public wording reflected the tank, healer and DPS anchor structure at that time and emphasized that the same adventurer joined your party. The older shared-world Trust EXP tradeoff language has since been superseded by Titan's no-party-penalty EXP rule.

Custom Trust Packet Rollback Active

Rolled back the Custom Trust equipped-packet experiment because recruitable allies could render with empty armor slots before or after recruitment.

The server is back on the prior Custom Trust visual-refresh map binary while preserving the custom identity, name, race, face, role profile and idle support work.
