Titan Development Log

Updated the client release workflow so launcher and client patches explicitly require a published Development Logs entry before completion is reported. The runbook now points maintainers to the live Development Log page and documents blocked-publication handling.

The runbook also reflects the current launcher behavior: opening the launcher must not start a full client file scan, while Play and Check Files trigger verification and Play continues automatically when checks pass. This was a documentation-only update; no game service restart was required.

Launcher 1.5.11 no longer starts a full client file verification as soon as the window opens. The Play button is available immediately, and pressing Play checks launcher updates and client files before continuing automatically into the game when verification passes.

Check Files remains available as a manual retry. Existing installations receive this through the normal launcher update flow; no game service restart is required.

Prepared Halver as the next world-placed Trust in East Ronfaure at Titan's saved river position. Halver uses his base Trust model and offers private recruitment dialogue about relaxing by the river before heading out to hunt fish.

The placement is a Lua-only update and keeps recruitment free of permanent Trust spell grants. The placement awaits an empty-server activation.

Removed generated FFXI error logs from the client patch manifest. These files change during gameplay and were causing a false client mismatch that could block Play. Local logs are preserved; game assets remain hash-verified.

Published an incremental manifest retaining 66,310 verified files with no game asset uploads. Existing launcher 1.5.10 installations receive the fix through Check Files or reopening the launcher; no game-server restart was required.

Documented the reusable physical Trust placement template, dialogue fields, recruitment checks and per-player visibility lifecycle. The production runbook covers release preparation, activation and rollback.

Future placements should normally require only Lua changes after the initial visibility support is activated. This documentation update does not activate the prepared Excenmille release.

Prepared the first physical Trust recruitment placement in East Ronfaure, using the selected position and facing. Excenmille greets players and offers Fight at my side. or Not now., with dedicated acceptance, decline and full-party dialogue. Recruitment does not add Trust magic spells.

The matching server update hides the standing NPC only for his recruiter. Companion death, dismissal or zoning restores availability while other players keep their own independent NPC.

The release is prepared for an empty-server activation. No client DAT update is required.

The automatic regional, mission, quest and battlefield Trust roster system is being retired ahead of a physical NPC redesign. The prepared change stops automatic spell grants and removes old managed temporary Trust spells on login or zoning after activation.

Deployment is staged; a map-service restart is required. Physical NPC placement is not included in this update.

Launcher 1.5.10 downloads the complete Titan game client into its required SquareEnix folder on a fresh installation. Existing installations download only missing or changed files. Every managed file is checked by size and SHA-256; failed or incomplete checks keep Play disabled and can be retried with Check Files.

The published baseline includes FFXI, PlayOnlineViewer and required non-DAT files. Personal character settings and temporary logs are not distributed. Downloads show progress, use parallel transfers and verified temporary files, and do not modify client files while the game is running.

The Windows installer, automatic launcher update, and Getting Started instructions are updated. The baseline mirrors locally working game files; no game services were restarted.
