Carbuncle’s Ruby: World Panel Styling

The Carbuncle’s Ruby finder had its own title and body-font overrides, which made it look different from the other World panels. It now uses the shared panel template, including the bold uppercase heading, matching body text and live-status badge. Element colors and the weather filters remain available, and the instruction to zone into the area stays bold at the surrounding text size.

Carbuncle Weather Finder: Instruction Text Size

The instruction “zone into the area” was inheriting a larger font from the World page’s emphasis styling. It now uses the same text size as the surrounding sentence while remaining bold.

Carbuncle Homepage Widget: Active Weather Boxes

The homepage Carbuncle’s Ruby strip now highlights currently available lights with color-matched boxes instead of dots. Inactive lights remain muted, making current opportunities easier to pick out.

World Page: Section Shortcuts in Page Order

The Carbuncle’s Ruby shortcut was listed after Weather even though its section appears first on the World page. The shortcuts now follow the order of the sections, with Carbuncle’s Ruby before Weather.

Carbuncle’s Ruby: Weather Finder and Homepage Shortcut

The World page now has a Carbuncle’s Ruby weather finder with its own direct link. It shows current opportunities across the 25 outdoor areas accepted by I Can Hear a Rainbow, grouped by the seven required lights. Select a light to see its locations; clouds, fog, light and dark weather, indoor areas and zones outside the quest’s list are excluded. Clear weather includes the Sunshine condition accepted by the quest.

A thin strip below the homepage clock summarizes the available lights and links straight to the full finder. Readings refresh every 30 seconds, and stale or unavailable readings are not counted as opportunities. With the quest active, carry Carbuncle’s Ruby in your inventory and zone into a listed area to collect its light. The finder does not read or track your character’s collected lights.

World Page: Matching Weather Navigation

The Weather shortcut on the World page used a separate link style, leaving it with different lettering, corners and spacing from the other section buttons. It now uses the same button styling and scrolling behavior as the rest of the navigation row.

Corsair Recruits: Reliable Rolls and Level-Up Preferences

Corsair recruits could stop rolling with gambits enabled and both Support choices set to None: that configuration incorrectly skipped the automatic roll planner. It now uses the usual party-aware choices. Evoker's Roll also failed because a check rejected it when the Corsair had no MP, even though the roll benefits the party. That check now distinguishes rolls from single-target Refresh spells.

Buff requests made in chat were stored separately from the settings restored after leveling, so a level-up could replace your requests with old selections. Chat and the two Support selectors now share the same session priorities. Requests survive level changes, including requests made before opening the addon, and default buffs clears both selections.

Changing a full two-roll combination previously waited for old effects to expire. A different requested roll can now replace an old one through the normal roll system when its cooldown is ready. The two-roll limit, busts, Double-Up and normal ability cooldowns still apply; changing a selection does not reset timers. The master OFF switch continues to stop new actions.

The Support choices now include the five missing Treasures of Aht Urhgan rolls: Corsair's, Beast, Choral, Drachen and Puppet. Corsair's Roll is the EXP buff; Phantom Roll is the ability category rather than a separate selectable buff. All eighteen era rolls retain their normal level requirements. Eight isolated native-engine checks passed for defaults, combinations, level-up retention, catalogue access, replacement, pause/resume and renewal. A player-session combat check remains to be confirmed after activation.

Merits: Higher Individual Ranks Within Level 75

Group 2 merits were still stopping at rank 3 because the era override supplied only three upgrade costs; the server uses that table length as the individual limit. The client menu also retained the three-rank ceiling. Both tables now allow rank 5, with ranks 4 and 5 costing five Merit Points each.

The same correction lifts the older individual limits on existing level-75 merits: HP/MP and attributes can reach rank 10, defensive skills rank 8, and Others rank 5. Higher ranks follow native costs, while previously available ranks keep their existing costs. HP/MP and attributes stop at the server's level-75 effect ceiling rather than exposing ranks that need higher levels to take effect.

Shared category totals still apply, including 10 allocated ranks in each enabled job group. The current era spell and ability selections remain; disabled GEO/RUN merits and level-96 merit weapon skills stay unavailable. The existing earned storage limit of 75 Merit Points is unchanged. No free points or ranks are granted.

The matching client merit-menu update is delivered through the launcher. All 96 native purchase tests passed, covering individual ceilings, costs, saved ranks, shared limits, disabled entries and Mog House rules. The client table passed structural and byte-scope checks; a real in-game menu purchase remains a post-activation confirmation.
