Sort and Optimize Confirm Command Delivery

TitanGambits now confirms that Sort and Optimize requests leave the client before waiting for the server result. If Ashita drops a request, the addon retries up to two times and stops retrying as soon as the outgoing command is observed.

The update is available through the launcher. Local command-delivery tests passed; confirmation during a live game session remains pending.

Launcher Restores Hardware Mouse Choice on Existing Installs

Titan Launcher 1.5.59 synchronizes the Hardware Mouse plugin choice with the FFXI hardware mouse flag when the launcher opens, including on existing installations with an older saved flag. Player-edited Ashita registry values remain preserved unless a launcher setting explicitly changes them. The signed update is available through the normal launcher update and download paths.

Launcher Hardware Mouse Setting Follows Plugin Choice

Titan Launcher 1.5.58 now updates the FFXI hardware mouse flag when you toggle the Hardware Mouse plugin. It also preserves other player-edited Ashita registry values unless a launcher setting explicitly changes them. The signed launcher is available through the normal update and download paths.

Titan System Announcements Use the World Message Color

Titan-wide system announcements sent from the website or broadcast tool now use the game’s world-announcement chat channel instead of the yellow basic-system channel. Announcement text and recipients are unchanged.

Dancer Recruits Keep Their Battle-Ready Stance

Armed Dancer Recruits again use the same battle-ready idle pose as other Recruits. This reverses the previous Dancer-only stance exception while retaining ability requirement checks.

Additional idle and combat packet tests passed, and limited Dancer action diagnostics were added to investigate reported client crashes. The crash cause remains unconfirmed; this update is not a verified client-crash fix.

Valkurm Dunes Ghouls Return at Night

Fixed the shared spawn slots in Valkurm Dunes so daytime Goblins vacate them before Ghouls become eligible at night. Ghouls remain available from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM Vana’diel time.

Only the Goblins competing for Ghoul slots change; their levels, drops, locations, and other Valkurm spawns remain unchanged.

Launcher Keeps Titan Separate from Retail PlayOnline

The Microsoft-signed Titan Launcher now re-enables Ashita client isolation when an older saved profile has disabled it. Titan continues to use its own PlayOnline and FFXI files while preserving the player’s other saved plugin settings.

This update addresses a launch profile risk found during investigation of a retail PlayOnline prompt. The reported black-screen symptom still needs a log from the affected computer to identify its cause.

Launcher Client Checks Run More Smoothly

The Microsoft-signed Titan Launcher now shows file-count progress while it verifies the required client files, with fewer interface updates during large checks.

After repairing a file, the launcher verifies the repaired destination without repeating the full 66,310-file scan. The initial check still compares every managed file by SHA-256 before Play.
