Titan XI: Closed Beta Notice

During live beta testing, several serious exploits were discovered that may have compromised server integrity and gameplay fairness. As a precaution, Titan XI has temporarily transitioned to a closed beta while we investigate the extent of these issues, address vulnerabilities, and restore a fair and stable experience for everyone.

Server reopening is currently TBA. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward welcoming adventurers back to Vana’diel.

Mercantile Guild Sources Craft Ingredients from Shops

When a needed Guild craft lacks an ingredient, its merchant first checks Guild holdings and fairly priced adventurer listings. The Guild can then source the remaining units from eligible ordinary shops or craft guilds at their current quote, without changing player-facing shop stock.

Each sourced unit enters the Guild ledger at the quoted price plus twenty percent. The finished craft keeps its usual twenty-percent margin on its accounted ingredients. Retired merchants such as the out-of-era Tenshodo scroll shop are excluded.

Auction House Newest Listings Default

Auction House Browse now opens with Newest Listings selected, so recently listed items appear first. Oldest Listings and Item Name follow it in the Sort by menu.

All other sort choices, search filters, pagination and Auction House transactions are unchanged.

About Page Section Links

Added compact in-page links below the Getting Started, Rules and FAQ buttons on About. They jump to the Titan Features Showcase, Our Story, Quick Glance, Server Settings, Quality of Life and Tidbits sections.

The Showcase, Story and Tidbits sections now have clear large headings. About hash links scroll to their targets on direct loads and when navigating within the site; the existing showcase and other page content remain in place.

Live World Snapshots on Home

Home now shows compact, regularly refreshed snapshots of Mercantile Guild crafts, newest active Auction House listings, Titan and Guild linkshell chat, noteworthy world events and the NM Log. Each card links to its full page. The original pages and feeds remain in place.

Each card includes up to five recent entries in a scrollable list with three visible at a time. The home dashboard uses the same public data as the existing pages and does not reveal Auction House reserve prices.

Titan Features Moved to About

The complete Titan Features showcase has moved from the home page to About, below the Getting Started, Rules and FAQ links and above Server Infrastructure. Its nine slides, artwork, controls and presentation are unchanged.

Bazaars Page Width

The Bazaars page now uses the same finite content width as Titan’s other pages. Its filters and compact listing rows stay inside the shared page boundary on desktop and narrow screens.

Player Bazaars

The new Bazaars page shows items offered by adventurers currently online, with item search, seller and zone filters, prices, and portraits linking to character profiles. Purchases still happen in game after finding the seller; the website cannot change or buy Bazaar listings.

Character profiles now show that adventurer's active Bazaar items below Overview. The display follows committed game inventory and price changes, including sales and removals. Bazaar asking prices do not guide Mercantile Guild pricing.

Mercantile Guild Expert Craftsmanship

Guild artisans now use expert craft skill for high-quality results. The weakest required craft, including a subcraft, sets the recipe's chance: roughly 1.56%, 6.25%, 25%, or 50% according to the skill gap.

Successful high-quality rolls select the recipe's HQ1, HQ2 or HQ3 item and quantity at a 12:3:1 quality ratio. If a result cannot be sold on Titan's Auction House, the artisan uses the highest lower marketable recipe result, down to NQ. Guild crafts still consume acquired materials at their exact costs; player crafting is unchanged. Live results will be observed after activation.
