Titan XI: Closed Beta Notice

During live beta testing, several serious exploits were discovered that may have compromised server integrity and gameplay fairness. As a precaution, Titan XI has temporarily transitioned to a closed beta while we investigate the extent of these issues, address vulnerabilities, and restore a fair and stable experience for everyone.

Server reopening is currently TBA. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward welcoming adventurers back to Vana’diel.

New Adventurers Start With Gear in Their Bag

Brand-new characters now arrive with empty equipment slots. Their race gear, eligible nation ring, Anniversary Ring, and starting job items are waiting in inventory for them to equip when they choose.

This changes only the first-login starter grant. Existing characters keep their equipment.

Recruit Healers Help Beyond Their Party

Recruit healers now look beyond their own party when a spell permits it. They check party members first, then alliance members, then nearby adventurers and their Recruits for Cures, status removal, protective spells, and Haste. Raise can reach nearby fallen adventurers when the game allows the cast.

The same support runs in and out of battle. Group-only spells still follow their usual party rules, and Recruits do not pick fights with other players' enemies.

Support Recruits Coordinate Party Buffs

Bards, Corsairs, and Geomancers now look at the support already supplied by nearby Recruits before choosing their next song, roll, or aura. Multiple Recruits of the same job can spread their buffs across different effects instead of all choosing the same one.

Each Bard and Corsair keeps its own two song or roll slots. Geomancers coordinate both their Indi and Luopan effects. Five eligible supporters can build toward ten distinct effects, subject to learned abilities, party needs, range, and normal casting rules.

Recruits Gain Monk-Style Subtle Blow

Every generated Recruit now learns the same natural Subtle Blow progression as a Monk. Their attacks feed less TP to enemies as they level, while jobs with an equal or stronger native tier keep that tier.

The change is limited to generated Recruits. It does not grant other Monk traits or change players and named Trusts.

Support Recruits Gain White Mage Subjob

Red Mage, Bard, Corsair, Summoner, Dancer, Scholar, and Geomancer Recruits now have White Mage as a subjob, up to level 37 at main level 75. They can use learned WHM healing, cleansing, Raise, and protective spells through shared server-side priorities while keeping their own job plans.

These support Recruits also keep their special level-gated Cure I–IV access and gain Cure V at level 61. White Mage main-job Recruits and player jobs are unchanged.

Recruit Job-Special Recast Fix

Generated Recruits now record and check job ability cooldowns under the same recast group. This fixes cases such as a Monk using Hundred Fists again soon after its effect ended.

Recruit job-special abilities now have a two-hour cooldown while that Recruit remains summoned. Player abilities are unchanged.

Recruit Party List Refresh and Area Rules

Fixed a party refresh that could make Recruits disappear from the party list even though they had joined and were fighting. Jackel’s Davoi session exposed the mismatch; the correction applies wherever Recruits can join, including alliances.

Manual recruitment now respects each ordinary area’s Trust permission, so service and restricted areas cannot be mistaken for eligible field zones. Battlefield and Dynamis recruitment keep their existing rules.

Bards and Corsairs Can Join from Field Anchors

Fixed the Bard and Corsair Recruit profiles so their combat rules use the condition IDs expected by the server. Their anchor appearances and job selection remain the same.

If a Recruit profile fails while spawning, the anchor now removes that attempt’s partial companion and keeps the anchor available.
