Titan XI: Closed Beta Notice

During live beta testing, several serious exploits were discovered that may have compromised server integrity and gameplay fairness. As a precaution, Titan XI has temporarily transitioned to a closed beta while we investigate the extent of these issues, address vulnerabilities, and restore a fair and stable experience for everyone.

Server reopening is currently TBA. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward welcoming adventurers back to Vana’diel.

Beastmaster Recruits Use Smarter Jug Pets

Beastmaster Recruits now choose a level-appropriate jug for offense, defense, or support, then keep that companion until its normal departure. Sic waits for pet TP and chooses a move that belongs to the active pet, while Reward uses virtual pet food when healing will matter.

Familiar supports hard fights; level-75 Feral Howl and Killer Instinct answer danger or a favorable pet matchup. Charm, Gauge, and Tame remain unavailable to Recruits because the current wild-pet ownership path requires a player.

Blue Mage Recruits Gain Two Swords and Smarter Magic

Blue Mage Recruits now carry a sword in each hand. They heal wounded allies with the right spell for the missing HP, protect the party with Cocoon and other Blue Magic, and use Head Butt to interrupt dangerous attacks.

In battle they mix physical and magical spells by level, MP, enemy resistance, and party needs. Chain Affinity, Burst Affinity, and Azure Lore join their server-run decisions.

Ninja Recruits Wield Two Katana

Ninja Recruits now carry a katana in each hand. Their shadow magic takes priority when protection runs low, and they use Yonin and Provoke when they need to protect the party.

They choose Kurayami, Jubaku, Hojo, Dokumori, and elemental ninjutsu by level and what the enemy still needs, while saving Blade: Jin for a ready weapon skill.

White Mage Recruits Respond to Group Emergencies

White Mage Recruits now use Erase and choose Curaga when several nearby allies need healing. Divine Seal supports major healing emergencies, while Benediction is held for a severe party-wide crisis.

They maintain Reraise on themselves and use the highest Regen tier available at their level, while keeping cures, status removal, Raise, Protectra, Shellra, and Haste.

Black Mage Recruits Read the Fight

Black Mage Recruits now look for an enemy's elemental weaknesses and the party's Magic Burst openings before choosing a spell. They weigh the damage against their MP reserve and the foe's remaining HP, with a more cautious pace in passive stance.

They can Sleep an extra enemy threatening the party, use Elemental Seal or Manafont when the fight calls for it, and cast Aspir only when the foe has MP to take.

Bard Recruits Sing for the Party

Bard Recruits now choose songs for the party in front of them. They can speed up melee fighters with March, sharpen their accuracy with Madrigal, restore MP with Ballad, or turn to Minuet and Paeon when those fit the fight.

They can also use Finale, Elegy, Lullaby, and Threnody against foes, with higher song tiers as they level. The server avoids repeating active songs and reserves Bard abilities for meaningful moments.

Corsair Recruits Read the Party

Corsair Recruits now choose Phantom Rolls around the party they actually have, follow up good rolls carefully, and use Quick Draw shots that fit the foe. A gun takes priority for weapon skills, while dagger skills remain available when needed.

The server now handles their shared roll and Quick Draw recasts, virtual cards, and Random Deal without relying on player Gambits.

Summoner Recruits Pay for Their Avatars

Summoner Recruits now spend MP to call an avatar or spirit, and keeping one present drains MP over time. Astral Flow pauses that upkeep, while Refresh and drinks can help sustain it. An avatar leaves when its Summoner runs out of MP.

The server uses its normal summon costs and avatar upkeep values.
