Titan XI: Closed Beta Notice

During live beta testing, several serious exploits were discovered that may have compromised server integrity and gameplay fairness. As a precaution, Titan XI has temporarily transitioned to a closed beta while we investigate the extent of these issues, address vulnerabilities, and restore a fair and stable experience for everyone.

Server reopening is currently TBA. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward welcoming adventurers back to Vana’diel.

Launcher Xbox Controller Defaults Added

Published Titan Launcher 1.5.44 with first-run Xbox/XInput-friendly FFXI controller registry defaults in the generated Ashita titan-launcher.ini profile.

Fresh launcher profiles now seed padmode000, padguid000, padsin000, and padexsin000 for easier controller setup, while existing player controller mappings remain preserved instead of being overwritten.

Custom Commands Quality of Life Summary Added

Added a Custom Commands card to the About page Quality of Life Updates section, listing Titan's Trust-compatible alliance command and Player Gambits on/off controls.

Added !ta as a short alias for !titanalliance so party leaders can send the same consent-based alliance invite with a faster command.

Trust-Compatible Alliance Command Added

Added a Titan alliance command for party leaders whose client alliance menu is greyed out while Trusts are active.

The new command sends a normal consent-based alliance invite through the server path, allowing two Trust-bearing parties to form an alliance while keeping Trust summoning inside existing alliances blocked for now.

Party and Alliance Quality of Life Summary Added

Added a Party & Alliances card to the About page Quality of Life Updates section explaining Titan's no-penalty grouping rules for real players, Trust-supported parties, and alliances.

The new summary highlights that party and alliance EXP penalties are removed to encourage grouping, and that parties with active Trusts can form alliances without dismissing those companions first.

Treasure Hunter Subjob Tier Fix

Corrected Titan's immediate Treasure Hunter application so /THF characters apply the level 75 subjob trait tier instead of stamping gear-inflated total TH values onto monsters.

THF main still applies its valid current Treasure Hunter total on qualifying actions, upgrade procs remain disabled, and player-only TH messages continue to appear only when a monster's internal TH tier actually changes.

Trust-Bearing Party Alliance Creation Enabled

Updated the alliance invite acceptance path so two existing parties can create an alliance even when one or both party leaders already have active Trusts.

This first step only removes the alliance-creation rejection. Calling or summoning additional Trusts while already in an alliance remains blocked.

Zazarg Trust Weapon Skill Data Updated

Zazarg was not using hand-to-hand weapon skills. His Trust pool pointed to skill list 1039, but the Trust Zazarg skill-list entry was still disabled.

Updated Zazarg's Trust skill list with the full hand-to-hand weapon skill set from Combo through Shijin Spiral, so the server can choose usable H2H weapon skills instead of leaving him without a valid weapon skill list.

Alliance EXP Penalty Removed

Audited Titan's combat EXP path for alliance-size penalties. The main EXP share formula was already neutral for all party sizes, including alliances.

Disabled the remaining Phoenix pet-kill party/alliance penalty module so monster-owned pet kills no longer drop to reduced EXP in larger parties or alliances. Website wording now says Titan removes party and alliance-size EXP penalties.
