October 21, 2026 7:26 PM CSTTitanGambits: Website-Matched Color Templates
TitanGambits: Website-Matched Color Templates
Settings now offers four color templates: Titan Gold, Ivory, Sandstone and Deep Charcoal. Each uses the website's charcoal, ivory, muted sandstone and gold palette. Titan Gold is the default. The buttons preview their own colors, and the selected choice is marked with an arrow.
Your choice saves across logout and game restarts and applies to both Standard and Compact mode, including navigation highlights. Enabled and disabled controls, job colors and other gameplay indicators retain their meanings. Unknown or retired template names safely fall back to Titan Gold without discarding your other settings.
Automated checks covered every template, saved preferences, fresh-session reloads, text contrast and both renderers' style cleanup. Existing Settings, FPS, PacketFlow, display and Venture checks also passed. Native in-game visual acceptance remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits to use the choices; no game server restart is needed.
October 21, 2026 7:16 PM CSTTitanGambits: Simpler Settings and One Draw-Distance Slider
TitanGambits: Simpler Settings and One Draw-Distance Slider
Settings now uses one draw-distance slider for scenery, players, monsters and objects together. Minimum selects 100% and Maximum selects 300%; Maximum remains the default. Your custom percentage is saved across logout and game restarts. Existing separate settings merge to their lower saved value, while a previous Restore game defaults selection becomes Minimum. The old Restore game defaults button has been removed.
Explanatory paragraphs throughout Settings have moved into short mouse-over descriptions on the buttons and sliders. The same cleanup applies to both Standard and Compact mode. Current FPS and actual PacketFlow loaded state are available in their button descriptions instead of adding changing rows to the page. Important draw-distance and PacketFlow errors remain visible, with details on hover. Existing FPS, collision, party TP, headgear and Lockstyle choices retain their behavior.
Automated checks covered both candidates, migration, saving and reloading one percentage, applying both rendering values together, the preset buttons, hover descriptions, fixed healthy-page row counts and visible errors. Rendering-pointer safeguards and existing FPS, PacketFlow, display and Venture checks also passed. Native Ashita visual acceptance remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits; no game server restart is needed.
October 21, 2026 7:05 PM CSTTitanGambits: Managed PacketFlow
TitanGambits: Managed PacketFlow
TitanGambits Settings now has PacketFlow ON and OFF buttons in both Standard and Compact layouts. ON is the default, and your choice is saved across logout, game restarts and switching between Titan and Dynamis. The page separately reports whether the native plugin is actually loaded, so a saved ON preference is not presented as a successful load when the file is missing or loading fails.
Microsoft-signed launcher 1.6.14 supplies the verified Ashita 4.30 PacketFlow plugin by Thorny. PacketFlow is managed by TitanGambits and is not a separate launcher checklist option. Old direct PacketFlow startup commands are removed from the generated startup script so they cannot briefly enable it over a saved OFF choice. A failed load or unload has bounded retries and leaves the rest of TitanGambits working; clicking the choice retries explicitly. Diagnostic launches continue to exclude optional plugins and addons.
PacketFlow changes client network timing to reduce zoning and zone-data loading delays. It does not increase FPS or speed up game-file downloads. The supplied DLL passed hash, architecture and interface checks and loaded successfully in a 32-bit Windows probe without initializing its game hooks. Signed-launcher tests covered extraction, repair, selection/startup isolation and corrupt-payload rejection; Lua tests covered persistence, actual loaded-state checks, failures and all earlier interface controls. Human in-game compatibility and Titan loading-time measurements remain pending, so no speedup percentage is claimed. Update and restart the launcher, then reload TitanGambits in an already-running game. No game server restart was required.
October 21, 2026 6:49 PM CSTTitanGambits: Party TP, Headgear and Lockstyle Controls
TitanGambits: Party TP, Headgear and Lockstyle Controls
Settings now has matching button pairs for Party TP ON/OFF, Show headgear/Hide headgear and Lockstyle ON/OFF. The defaults are Party TP ON, Show headgear and Lockstyle OFF. These choices save across logout and game restarts and apply when using the same installation for Titan or Dynamis, in either Standard or Compact mode.
The controls use the game’s normal commands. Lockstyle ON locks the appearance currently equipped; it does not choose or restore an equipment-set number. Saved choices are applied after the character loads, and changes made during zoning or a cutscene wait until normal play resumes. Opening Settings does not repeatedly resend commands, and ordinary zoning does not recapture a locked appearance.
The new rows contain only their labels and buttons, with no changing confirmation or explanation text added below them. Successful saves do not add addon confirmation messages; game command errors remain visible. Automated Lua checks covered the defaults, exact commands, all six buttons, saving and fresh-session reloads, loading/cutscene deferral and command-queue failures. Existing FPS, draw-distance, Compact interface and Venture checks also passed. Human in-game acceptance remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits; no game server restart is required.
October 21, 2026 6:38 PM CSTTitanGambits: Saved Draw-Distance Sliders
TitanGambits: Saved Draw-Distance Sliders
TitanGambits Settings now has separate draw-distance sliders for scenery and for players, monsters and objects. Both default to the maximum 300% and can be reduced to 100%. Each percentage scales the original client rendering value captured when the addon first applies the controls. Your selections are saved across logout and game restarts and shared when switching between Titan and Dynamis.
Restore game defaults returns the captured rendering values and disables the custom override until a slider is moved again. Increasing distance can reduce FPS, and entity visibility still depends on updates received from the server; these sliders do not reveal every monster in a zone or change targeting and attack ranges. The controls work in Standard and Compact layouts without changing the saved frame-rate mode.
The rendering controls use the signature and pointers from Ashita’s bundled DrawDistance addon, with bounded settings, pointer and value checks, limited retries and restoration on addon unload. A missing or invalid pointer leaves rendering unchanged and displays an unavailable message in Settings. Automated Lua tests covered applying and restoring distances, settings persistence, invalid inputs, simulated memory failures and compatibility with the existing interface and FPS controller. Native hardware and visual verification remain pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits; no game server restart is needed.
October 21, 2026 6:26 PM CSTTitanGambits: Three Saved Frame-Rate Modes
TitanGambits: Three Saved Frame-Rate Modes
Frame Rate in TitanGambits Settings now offers Static FPS 30, Static FPS 60 and 30/60 Hybrid. Hybrid is the default and keeps the former FPS 60 behavior: a 60 FPS cap during normal play, 30 FPS during cutscenes and sustained slowdown, and automatic tests for recovery to 60. Existing saved FPS 60 choices become Hybrid; existing saved FPS 30 choices remain Static FPS 30.
Static FPS 60 keeps the 60 FPS cap during cutscenes and slowdown. Static FPS 30 keeps the 30 FPS cap throughout. These are caps, so selecting Static FPS 60 cannot guarantee 60 rendered frames on a struggling system. Your selected mode is saved across logout and game restarts and applies when using the same installation for Titan or Dynamis. Both Standard and Compact layouts expose the same controls.
Automated Lua checks covered migration, saving and reloading all three choices, cutscene handling, sustained slowdown, recovery timing and command retries. In-game hardware and visual verification remain pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits to use the controls in an already-running game; no game server restart is required.
October 21, 2026 6:14 PM CSTTitanGambits: Optional Compact Interface
TitanGambits: Optional Compact Interface
TitanGambits now offers Standard mode and Compact mode in Settings, alongside the existing frame-rate and collision controls. Standard remains the default. Compact provides a smaller dock, navigation menu and individual panels, with a party-member selector for Gambits. The selected mode is saved through logout and addon reload, and you can return to Standard from Settings or the compact toolbar.
The compact layout adapts the supplied interface package to Titan’s current addon, with gold styling, wrapped labels, independent panel positions and edge snapping. Existing navigation shortcuts still open their corresponding panels. Personal settings remain in the existing protected configuration folder; the update does not replace character data or job sheets.
This is an interface change. Recruitment readiness, job cooldowns, party ownership checks, automatic action controls, weapon-skill modes, server requests and FPS behavior retain their existing handlers. Automated checks covered settings saved and loaded in fresh sessions, both layouts, recruitment guards, party controls and cleanup after a simulated rendering failure. The existing FPS and Venture checks also passed. Native Ashita rendering and human in-game acceptance remain pending. The launcher delivers this update without a game server restart; reload TitanGambits after updating an already-running game.
October 21, 2026 4:41 PM CSTTitanGambits: Clearer Target Loot Lists
TitanGambits: Clearer Target Loot Lists
The Info panel no longer lists Despoil items in a monster’s loot table. The server previously sent Despoil entries alongside normal drops and Steal items; the display response now leaves Despoil entries out. Normal drops, Steal entries and Treasure Hunter comparisons remain available, and actual Despoil behavior and monster loot tables are unchanged.
Visible row counts and Treasure Hunter row references now exclude the hidden entries, and Despoil entries no longer take up the display’s 96-row allowance. Sixty-four automated checks passed using the actual server command with both current and pending addon decoders. This was applied through a server Lua reload without restarting the game server or changing the addon download. Reload TitanGambits once to clear monster information already cached by an open game; in-game visual acceptance remains pending.
