TitanGambits: Optional Plugin Sound Effects

Settings now has Plugin SFX ON and Plugin SFX OFF buttons in the same style as the other controls. Sound starts OFF, and your choice is saved between sessions. The control switches all plugin notification audio together; there are no clip lists, theme selectors or extra help text.

When enabled, one of three short clips plays after a newly confirmed Venture delivery. Dispatches and pending deliveries stay silent, and the existing saved receipt prevents duplicate notifications from replaying a sound. Switching OFF stops the current clip. Audio failures cannot interrupt receipt handling or change rewards, delivery, Sparks or gameplay. The sound feature was integrated separately from the submitted UI replacement, preserving Titan's current interface. All 32 scoped sound checks and the retained addon regression suites passed; in-game listening confirmation remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits. No game-server restart is needed.

Launcher 1.6.15: Critical Runtime File Repair

Check Files now verifies and repairs 19 core Ashita runtime files, including xiloader, the Ashita core, bundled plugins and base lookup tables. Previously, the existing game-client and managed-addon checks did not cover these runtime files, so a missing xiloader could still prevent launch after a file check. Repairs download the approved files from Titan over HTTPS, check their sizes and SHA-256 hashes, and retain backups of changed files before replacement.

The launcher checks these runtime files before marking the client ready. Use Check Files to repair missing or changed files while the game is closed. If antivirus blocks a repair or removes a file again, the check stops and directs you to Protection History rather than repeatedly downloading it. Personal settings, macros and custom graphics files are preserved. The launcher and installer have valid signatures; third-party files retain their original bytes and signing status. All 44 scoped repair tests passed, and the published files were hash-verified. Recovery on an affected player's antivirus setup still needs confirmation. No game-server restart is required.

Sagheera Services Menu Crash Corrected

Opening Sagheera’s full services menu could immediately close the client with FFXI-2003. Her script still selected a legacy Phoenix text table instead of Port Jeuno’s normal text. We reproduced the failure and confirmed that the same client could open her menu after removing that override.

The Lua correction is live on Titan and Dynamis without a server restart or client download. Existing mission requirements, prices, beastcoin handling and armor-upgrade rules are unchanged. All 878 scoped Lua checks passed, and opening the menu was verified in game; purchases and armor trades have not received a separate player test. Temporary GM test access has been removed without changing mission progress.

TitanGambits: Hybrid Prioritizes Returning to 60 FPS

Hybrid now makes its first recovery attempt at roughly two seconds after falling back to 30 FPS, provided rendering at the 30 FPS cap has stabilized. The recovery settling period is 0.75 seconds, followed by one continuous second at 29 FPS or better. Failed attempts wait four and then at most eight seconds before retrying, shortening the previous 5/10/20-second policy.

When a cutscene ends, Hybrid immediately tries 60 FPS once the player is back in valid gameplay, even if it had entered performance fallback before the scene. Those recovery attempts retain the short probe safeguards: struggling 60 FPS measurements return to 30, and borderline recovery cannot remain unverified indefinitely. Repeated failures still back off to avoid constant rapid switching. A machine that cannot sustain 60 FPS will still spend time at 30; the option cannot eliminate the need to test available headroom.

Cutscenes still use 30 FPS in Hybrid. Static modes, saved preferences and quiet FPS switching retain their behavior. Automated timing, moving-average, cutscene-exit, retry-limit and existing addon checks passed. In-game performance confirmation remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits; no game server restart is needed.

TitanGambits: Faster Hybrid FPS Recovery

Hybrid 30/60 now tries to return to 60 FPS much sooner after a performance slowdown. The retry delay starts at 5 seconds instead of 30, with two continuous seconds of stable rendering at the 30 FPS cap required before testing 60 again. Repeated failed attempts back off to 10 and then at most 20 seconds, replacing the previous five-minute maximum.

Recovery probes have a shorter settling period and return to 30 when measured FPS stays below 55 for one second after that period. Borderline probes must establish healthy 60 FPS performance within six seconds. This keeps the retry quick without leaving an unsuccessful attempt at 60 indefinitely. Capped 30 FPS cannot prove that the machine has recovered enough headroom, so returning to 60 still requires a brief trial.

Normal Hybrid slowdown detection still requires two seconds below 55 FPS, and cutscenes retain the 30 FPS override. Static FPS 30 and Static FPS 60 keep their existing behavior. Automated timing checks covered recovery, moving-average settling, repeated failures, cutscenes, pauses, unavailable measurements and saved modes. In-game performance confirmation remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits; no game server restart is needed.

TitanGambits: Optional Zone Music During Battles

Settings now has saved Battle Music ON and OFF buttons in Standard and Compact mode. ON is the default and preserves normal battle music. OFF uses the current zone background track for solo and party combat, following its day/night tracks while leaving the zone, mount and cutscene music slots unchanged.

After installing or reloading the addon for the first time, zone once so TitanGambits can capture the original music choices. After that, the buttons update the two battle slots locally, and turning ON restores the original tracks. Zoning refreshes the captured tracks for the new area. Silent zones remain silent rather than gaining a different soundtrack. Other addons that also replace music may conflict.

Automated tests covered packet boundaries, day/night transitions, saved settings, restoration, zoning, character isolation, failed-update retry limits and existing addon controls. Native in-game audio acceptance remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits; no game server restart is needed.

TitanGambits: Simpler Draw Distance and Navigation

Draw Distance now has only Minimum (100%) and Maximum (300%) buttons; the slider has been removed. Maximum remains the default, and your choice saves across logout and game restarts. Previously saved intermediate percentages move to the nearest preset, with 200% choosing Maximum. Both scenery and entity rendering use the selected preset; server visibility limits still apply.

Venture Moogles now appears directly below Recruitment, making it the third navigation choice in both Standard and Compact mode. The four color-template buttons remain in one row with a solid green selection, but now use fixed widths instead of stretching with the window. Their sizes still follow your chosen interface scale.

Automated checks covered preset migration, saving and applying both rendering values, fixed color-button widths, navigation order and existing client controls. Native in-game visual acceptance remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits; no game server restart is needed.

TitanGambits: Clearer Color-Template Selection

The four color-template buttons in Settings now sit together in one horizontal row. The selected template uses the same solid green highlight as the other Settings choices, replacing the colored previews and arrow marker. Your saved template and the website-matched palettes remain unchanged in Standard and Compact mode. Automated UI and saved-preference checks passed; native in-game visual acceptance remains pending. Update through the launcher and reload TitanGambits; no game server restart is needed.
