Simpler Website Navigation, Gambits Controls and Valor Notices

The section shortcut bars have been removed throughout the website, including World, character profiles, Leaderboard, Getting Started, About, FAQ, Recruits and the Mercantile Guild. Click a section’s own heading to expand or shrink it. Character Overview stays open, and normal page links, downloads, search and ranking controls remain available.

TitanGambits 2.4.14 places Gambits ON/OFF at the top of the Gambits tab, immediately above the party rows. The Recruit button and its cooldown now appear in Recruitment. Both controls retain their existing actions, and recruit status continues updating while you browse other tabs. Close FFXI and let the launcher install the addon update.

Blue and brown treasure-casket spawn alerts now use Titan’s usual Emotes channel, which appears in Window 2 with the standard Titan chat filters. The shared casket handler covers both original areas and Titan’s additional casket areas. Nearby alliance members receive the notice, including the casket’s color.

Fields and Grounds of Valor completion notices now show how many repeats of the selected page you have completed. The initial clear shows zero repeats, and the next clear shows one. The count continues beyond 25 without changing reward scaling, persists with the selected page and resets when you cancel or select a page again. Existing active pages begin this new tracking from their next clear; earlier clears cannot be reconstructed reliably. The begins-anew notice also uses Emotes.

Automated checks cover the controls’ actions, both casket colors, same-zone player recipients and repeat counts beyond 25. Browser checks confirmed the shortcut bars are gone and World, profile and Leaderboard sections still expand. The message scripts were accepted by the running Dynamis and Titan servers without restarting services. Player-side visual confirmation of the new chat notices and addon layout remains a follow-up.

TitanGambits 2.4.13: Walk Through Recruit Pets

Collision OFF now also lets you walk through pets belonging to visible players and Trust recruits. The previous filter recognized players and Trusts themselves but did not include their avatars, automatons, wyverns and other pets, so those pets could still block movement.

Pet inclusion uses the client’s friendly-pet flags or a verified player/recruit-to-pet link and refreshes as pets appear, disappear or change. Collision ON restores the flags changed by TitanGambits, and your existing saved choice is retained. Wild monsters, enemy-owned pets, NPCs, walls and combat ranges remain unchanged. The setting continues working while Gambits are off.

Automated checks cover player and recruit pets, pet replacement, owner disappearance, entity-slot reuse, zoning, restoration and saved settings. In-game confirmation with every pet family remains a follow-up. Close FFXI and let the launcher install TitanGambits 2.4.13. No game-server restart or launcher executable update is required.

Launcher Development Log Feed Restored

The launcher’s News page and latest-update carousel could no longer read new patch notes after the website switched Development Log entries to collapsible widgets. The launcher reads each entry’s original article wrapper, but the layout change replaced that wrapper with a disclosure element, so it rejected the page as having no valid entries.

The server-rendered page now keeps the article wrapper around each collapsed widget. Existing launchers can read the date, title and summary again, while website visitors keep the same expand/shrink controls, full notes, newest-first order and eight entries per page. The surrounding wrapper has no extra border or padding, so it does not create a second visible box.

The installed launcher’s actual parser reproduced the previous failure and successfully read all eight entries from the repaired HTML. Regression checks also cover pagination, collapsed bodies and escaped text. This repair is delivered by the website; no launcher download or game-server restart is needed. An already-open launcher may keep its previous result until its next news check.

TitanGambits 2.4.12: Inventory Duplicates and HQ/NQ Filters

Inventory now has a Find Duplicates button. It shows an item when the same item ID occupies more than one loaded slot, including copies in different containers. A single stack of 99 does not count as 99 duplicates. Select a result to see its container, equipped status, number of loaded slots and total quantity; copies with the same item ID may still have different augments or charges.

The new comparison menu also offers NQ + HQ pairs, HQ variants and NQ variants. The pair view requires both qualities to be present in loaded containers and groups them with NQ first. Searching for either owned variant keeps the pair together, even when the HQ has a different name. Quality relationships come from Titan’s synthesis results rather than guessing from a +1 suffix. Ambiguous relationships and unmapped items are excluded from quality filters; HQ crafts that only increase the quantity of the same item ID cannot identify the quality of an individual stack.

Search, container and item-category filters work together with these views. Results refresh with the existing inventory cache and include only client-loaded contents, so an unavailable container is not treated as empty. These controls only help inspect items; they do not move, equip, drop or sell anything.

Automated checks cover cross-container matches, stack and same-name false positives, differently named HQ results, filtering, refresh removal and narrow/wide layouts. Final in-game visual confirmation remains a follow-up. Close FFXI and let the launcher install TitanGambits 2.4.12. No game-server restart or launcher executable update is required.

Saffron: Jack-o’-Lantern Crafting

Saffron was skipping Jack-o’-Lanterns even when materials were supplied because their catalog entry lacked the era proof required by automatic Guild crafting. Pumpkin Pie remained eligible and used the shared pumpkins instead. Jack-o’-Lantern now has a specific crafting approval, while the other item restrictions remain unchanged. Each lantern still requires a Fire Crystal, Ogre Pumpkin and Beeswax; production depends on available ingredients and market demand. Previously consumed pie ingredients are not refunded or duplicated.

Homepage: World Leaders Removed

The rotating World Leaders card has been removed from the homepage. The full Leaderboard remains available from the World menu, with its rankings unchanged.

World Leaders: Homepage Spacing

World Leaders now sits closer to the homepage statistics, with a larger gap below the Windows download button. Its compact width, leader rotation and gold transition remain the same.

A Clearer Website Header

The fixed website header now has a nearly opaque dark background, so scrolling content is much less visible behind its navigation and notices. The shared header keeps the same layout across desktop and mobile.
