World Leaders: A New Spotlight

World Leaders now sits directly beneath the Windows client download, in a compact card matching the download button’s width. A brief gold flash sweeps across the card whenever a new leader appears every five seconds. Each entry keeps its portrait, name and leading total, and clicking opens the Leaderboard. Hover or focus to hold an entry; reduced-motion settings disable the flash.

World Leaders: Pause Button Removed

The homepage World Leaders widget no longer has a Pause button, and its spacing now uses the freed room. Leaders still rotate every five seconds, with the existing portrait, total and Leaderboard link. Hovering or focusing the widget continues to hold the current leader while you read it.

Leaderboard: Collections, Skills, Jobs and Playtime

Seven new Leaderboard widgets cover Playtime, Total Artifact Armor Collected, Total Relic Armor Collected, Total Profession Points, Total Fieldcraft Points, Total Job Levels and Most Titles Unlocked. Each has a matching anchor button, portrait and character-name color, with the same expand-and-shrink controls and sorting as the existing rankings. The homepage leader spotlight can also feature these categories.

Armor totals use current ownership across the same 18 jobs shown on profiles, including AF weapons, +1 versions and supported storage. Duplicates count once, and discarded pieces stop counting when saved data updates. Profession points sum saved skill levels, including Fishing; Fieldcraft sums only Titan Mining, Logging and Excavation, capped at 100.0 each. Skill totals retain tenths. Total Job Levels sums saved levels across all 22 jobs, capped at 75 per job. Title counts use the profile title catalog, and playtime displays days, hours and minutes while ranking by saved seconds. GM characters and GM Calls remain excluded.

Leaderboard: GM Calls Category Removed

GM Calls has been removed from the Leaderboard categories, anchor buttons and homepage World Leaders rotation. Its counter is no longer included in the Leaderboard API response. The remaining 16 rankings keep their existing portraits, character-name colors and sorting controls; GM characters remain excluded.

Leaderboard: Leader Portraits in Collapsed Widgets

Each collapsed Leaderboard widget now shows the leading character’s current portrait immediately beside their name and total. Names use the same portrait-based character colors as the rest of the website, both in widget headers and expanded ranking rows. The compact headers retain the existing expand-and-shrink controls and mobile layout. GM characters remain excluded.

Leaderboard: GM Characters Excluded

GM characters are now excluded from every Leaderboard ranking and the homepage World Leaders spotlight. The exclusion is applied when the server reads the records, so GM entries are not sent to the browser. The optional GM checkbox has been removed, and rankings and tied positions now use only eligible player characters.

Leaderboard: Consistent Page Layout and Anchors

Leaderboard was missing the shared page panel, leaving its width, background and padding different from the other pages. It now uses the same centered page container. Category buttons sit directly below the introduction and use the shared anchor-navigation layout, with the same wrapping and mobile spacing. Each button still expands its matching ranking widget and scrolls to it. Opening Leaderboard from the menu also returns to the top when no section link is selected.

Homepage: World Leader Spotlight

A compact World Leaders widget now sits below the homepage server statistics. Every five seconds it picks the next category from a shuffled rotation and shows a current leader’s portrait, name and saved total. Tied leaders share the spotlight, categories with no recorded activity are skipped, and GM characters are marked. Click the widget to open Leaderboard.

The widget uses the same gold hover highlight as the nearby homepage panels. Hovering or focusing it holds the current leader, and the Pause button lets you stop or resume rotation. Rankings refresh once per minute while Home is visible; the five-second rotation uses the loaded rankings rather than making a new request each time. Totals retain the saved-record and kill-credit limitations explained on Leaderboard.
