Recruitment Fill Order and Release Checks Clarified

TitanGambits now labels its five Recruitment choices as fill priorities instead of party slots. The highest unmet role is chosen first; existing generated Recruits satisfy matching priorities. The Recruits page now explains that order and the current typed companion requests. This wording update does not change Recruit selection or combat behavior.

Titan release preparation now rehearses the same Development Log cache-reference and Discord parsing checks used at publication, including a retry after partial publication. Manual game-service startup guidance checks each child service before finalization. The game services remain under operator control; this static update does not restart them.

Titan Game Services Switch to Manual Control

Titan game services now stay stopped until the operator starts them. Patch installation and rollback leave the game offline; automatic boot starts and automatic service restarts are disabled for map, connect, world, and search services. The website and API remain available during maintenance.

Summoner Recruits Focus on Party Wards and MP Recovery

Summoner Recruits now summon avatars for available party support wards or meaningful backup healing, then dismiss them when that work is done. They no longer keep avatars out for routine attacks or spend Blood Pacts on offensive damage.

Their ward selection checks the combined summon and pact MP budget, favors Hastega before other wards, and waits to recover MP before another support cycle. Elemental Siphon, legitimate /WHM backup healing, and MP-restoring staff weapon skills remain available.

Companions Understand Typed Action Requests

Recruit companions now recognize case-insensitive action names typed in party chat or nearby say, as well as FFXI auto-translate tokens. Numbered spells, songs, geomancy, Corsair rolls and job abilities resolve through the loaded server action catalogs.

A Recruit can answer only when its job, level, current abilities, resources, recast, pet and target rules permit the action. Player-directed requests enter the Recruit action queue ahead of normal AI.

Bard, Red Mage and Corsair Recruits Control Adds

Bard Recruits now use Foe Lullaby on threatening adds, Red Mage Recruits choose a level-appropriate affordable Sleep, and Corsair Recruits use Light Shot. These off-target actions only consider awake enemies already attacking a nearby living party member.

The actions use each job’s native unlock level, recast, range, spell cost and Quick Draw rules. Controlled in-game combat is still needed to observe timing and resistance behavior.

Scholar Recruits Become Light Arts Healers

Scholar Recruits now maintain Light Arts and Addendum: White, choose native Cure I–IV by injury, maintain Regen and protection, remove dangerous ailments, and Raise eligible party members. They no longer spend healer time on elemental nukes or weapon skills.

The healer plan uses Stratagem charges for urgent or group healing, status removal and support, with Sublimation for MP recovery. Scholar stays at caster range. Action levels and spell access follow Titan’s native catalog; actual combat timing and group placement remain to be observed in game.

Rune Fencer Recruits Improve Defensive Tactics

Rune Fencer Recruits now use observed enemy magic to maintain an appropriate rune set without repeatedly switching back to a fallback element. Flash and Foil help recover attention; Vallation, Valiance, Pflug, Swordplay, Vivacious Pulse, Embolden with Phalanx, status wards and level-appropriate spikes have more deliberate triggers.

Swipe, Lunge, Gambit and Rayke now account for defensive rune safety before spending runes. Titan's existing level-75 Battuta and Rayke Recruit access remains in place. All actions still follow native level, recast, MP and target checks.

Recruit Role Colors Match Across TitanGambits

TitanGambits now shows Support Recruits in yellow. Tank remains blue, Healer is green, and DPS is red in filled party slots.

Selected role priorities in the Recruitment tab use those same colors. Recruitment order and Recruit behavior are unchanged.
