Titan XI: Closed Beta Notice

During live beta testing, several serious exploits were discovered that may have compromised server integrity and gameplay fairness. As a precaution, Titan XI has temporarily transitioned to a closed beta while we investigate the extent of these issues, address vulnerabilities, and restore a fair and stable experience for everyone.

Server reopening is currently TBA. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward welcoming adventurers back to Vana’diel.

Conquest Menu DAT Patch Rolled Back

Rolled the public client patch manifest back from client-20260912-04 to client-20260912-03 after the conquest guard event DAT edit caused guards to skip normal dialogue and immediately cast Signet. The server-side conquest costs remain at the era values, but the client menu DAT display change is withdrawn pending a safer event-bytecode fix.

Restored the local authoritative copies of the affected event DATs to the known-good public hashes and preserved the reverted local DAT copies for analysis. Players should run the launcher file check or press Play so the launcher repairs the affected event DATs back to client-20260912-03.

Client Patch-Staging Cleanup Added

Cleaned the local client Patch-Staging workspace after verified client DAT publication, reducing it from about 50 GB of temporary release snapshots to an empty staging directory while preserving manifests, release summaries, exclusion reports and archive hashes under C:\Titan\Build.

Updated the client release tooling so incremental releases hash the full SquareEnix baseline but copy only changed files into Patch-Staging. The release runbook, DAT policy and Titan notes now require post-publication staging cleanup after public HTTPS hash verification.

Conquest Guard Scroll Prices Display Correctly

Published the client DAT fix for Conquest Guard Common Items menus so Scroll of Instant Reraise displays at 500 conquest points and Scroll of Instant Warp displays at 750 conquest points, matching the server charge path.

The patch updates the affected client event DAT immediate tables for conquest guard events. The release was staged as an incremental launcher client patch, with private player data and runtime logs excluded from the managed manifest.

Era Ring Help Text Client Patch Published

Published the approved client DAT update for Chariot Band, Empress Band, Emperor Band and Anniversary Ring help text. The launcher patch manifest now distributes FINAL FANTASY XI/ROM/118/109.DAT with the era-correct bonus, duration and maximum bonus values.

The release was prepared from the local authoritative SquareEnix client baseline as an incremental client patch. Private player data and runtime logs remained excluded from the managed client manifest.

Conquest Scroll Costs Restored

Conquest guard stock data now uses era values for Scroll of Instant Reraise and Scroll of Instant Warp: 500 conquest points and 750 conquest points respectively. The Phoenix era override already enforces the same values, so the base conquest table and override now agree.

No game service restart was performed; the change is file-published for script reload/next map restart. Client DAT menu text remains a separate follow-up.

Shared Physical Trust Travel Network LIVE

Activated the corrected ToAU-era travel-anchor physical Trust network. The live world now includes the global 122-Trust daily pool across manual placements, Valor books, EXP camps, Survival Guides, Home Points and Telepoints, with same-zone duplicate and conflict-family prevention.

The travel-anchor pass uses 40 eligible Home Points, 67 eligible Survival Guides and six eligible Telepoints. It safely placed 673 travel-anchor slots after reducing Fei'Yin Home Point #1 to one safe slot and avoiding the Qubia Arena zone-line area.

Shared source NPCs now become globally vacant when recruited and return through a five-minute slot respawn that chooses a different valid Trust where possible without increasing the configured visible slot count. Battlefield Trusts remain instance-local and are not affected by the world respawn cycle.

The failed original travel package was left inactive and marked do-not-use. The corrected r2 activation is live: xi_map, xi_connect, xi_world and xi_search are active.

Household Login Policy Clarified

The server login configuration has the per-IP session limit disabled with login.LOGIN_LIMIT set to 0, allowing legitimate households to connect from the same internet connection.

Updated the website wording so household players no longer need to request an IP exception before playing together. The no-dual-boxing rule remains: each person must use their own account and independently control their own character.

Launcher Character Hover Popup Removed

Launcher 1.5.18 removes the hover popup from character cards. Character jobs, crafts and mission progress remain visible directly inside the card tabs, so hovering over a portrait no longer covers the launcher UI with redundant text.

Character cards no longer create hover ToolTips. Login, game launch, client patching and server gameplay behavior are unchanged.
