Clearer Daily Hunt Announcements
Daily Titan Hunt announcements now invite players to hunt the day’s eligible monster families, explain that every 10 EXP-yielding kills earns Sparks, and direct players to !hunt for progress. The native Emotes channel and existing hunt rules are unchanged. Applied live without restarting game services.
October 15, 2026 3:41 PM CSTGameplay Progress Chat Routing
Gameplay Progress Chat Routing
Hunt targets and progress, hunt Sparks rewards, Chaosbringer kill counts, and weapon-trial progress now use native Emotes chat with its default color, separate from restart and maintenance announcements. The extra character-name prefix is suppressed. Messages follow each player’s existing Emotes log-window settings; Window 2 is not forced on customized clients.
Applied live without restarting game services or changing quest counts, rewards, or chat preferences. Future similar gameplay notices must use the shared Titan progress-chat helper. No launcher or addon update is required.

Daily Titan Hunt Announcements
Titan now announces the current elemental hunt targets server-wide when the Vana’diel day changes. The short message names the target families, reminds players that 10 EXP-yielding kills earn Sparks, and points to !hunt for personal progress.
Announcements use the hunt system-message channel and a saved day marker to prevent duplicates after Lua reloads or map restarts. Applied through the live Lua reload system without restarting game services.
October 15, 2026 2:47 PM CSTColossus Model Lookup Correction
Colossus Model Lookup Correction
Corrected the client file mappings for all 28 custom Colossus models. The previous mapping sent the game to empty file slots, causing the enlarged monsters to appear invisible. Original monster assets remain unchanged.
Titan Launcher now delivers the corrected lookup tables to existing installations and includes them in fresh installs. Fully close FFXI before updating, then launch again. The 5x models still require an in-game visual check; no game-server restart was needed.
October 15, 2026 1:57 PM CSTColossus Initial Spawn Correction
Colossus Initial Spawn Correction
Fixed Colossus setup being attached after ordinary monsters had already spawned during zone loading. Selected Colossus mobs now receive their handlers and saved respawn deadlines during mob initialization, before the first spawn pass.
West Ronfaure’s sheep was safely respawned through its existing Colossus handler without restarting game services. Server diagnostics confirmed the enlarged model and fivefold HP. Startup-order and timer tests passed for all 82 entries; player confirmation of the model’s appearance remains pending. Existing ordinary candidates in already-loaded zones convert on their next spawn.
October 15, 2026 1:27 PM CSTWeapon Trial Progress in Chat
Weapon Trial Progress in Chat
Active weapon-skill trials now report the equipped weapon’s actual training points in system chat, using the Window 2 channel. All 14 trial weapons are covered, including bows and guns, with remaining points and a completion notice.
Point awards are unchanged: qualifying weapon skills grant 5 points, or 7, 9 and 11 when closing level 1, 2 and 3 skillchains. Existing equipped trial weapons should be unequipped and re-equipped once to attach tracking. Automated tests passed; in-game chat-window placement remains to be confirmed.
October 15, 2026 1:01 PM CSTTitan Sparks Elemental Hunts and Citipati
Titan Sparks Elemental Hunts and Citipati
Introduced automatic daily elemental hunts: ten EXP-yielding kills from the current Vana’diel day’s families award twice their average monster level, rounded down. Progress repeats, persists across zoning and relogging, resets by Vana’diel day, and can be checked with !hunt. Chat reports progress and the amount actually credited.
Reset existing character Sparks balances once with an offline rollback snapshot and replaced the old per-EXP Sparks source. Restored the three original Titan avatar equipment shops, preserving model 19, the approved custom dialogue, existing prices and the level-75 equipment-only menus. Modern rewards and voucher exchanges remain blocked. The About page now has a dedicated Titan Sparks anchor and guide. Automated dialogue, purchase, native-menu and daily-reset checks passed; in-game chat-window routing and player smoke confirmation remain unverified.
Citipati now uses an autonomous 3–6 hour respawn timer without requiring Corse kills. The existing 20:00–04:00 Vana’diel spawn window remains. An existing cooldown or pending spawn is migrated, and dawn despawn does not start a fresh kill cooldown.
The placeholder audit found eight other retained camp references: Fradubio, Rampaging Ram, Steelfleece Baldarich, Lumbering Lambert, Bloodtear Baldurf, Despot, and Sea Horror on both ferry routes. Those exceptions are not changed by this Citipati patch. Automated catalog, scheduler and migration tests passed; in-game confirmation remains outstanding.
Fixed Recruit hold-ground facing and target changes. Recruits continue facing their selected enemy while stationary; only a close current attacker suppresses retreat, so unrelated adds and distant attackers no longer pin movement toward a new target. Existing action locks and Gambit execution remain intact. Native regression checks and the local Linux map-server build passed; live combat confirmation remains pending.
Generated Recruits can complete ninjutsu and mage spells while taking damage, including Utsusemi: Ichi. Normal casting requirements and disabling effects still apply; live combat confirmation remains pending.
Trials of the Colossi converts one screened ordinary monster in each of 82 selected zones into a fivefold-size encounter with fivefold base HP, unchanged level and normal combat stats and EXP. Each zone has an independent persistent 1–4-hour respawn timer. Eligible members of the claiming party/alliance receive 2 Sparks per monster level; kills do not announce globally. Launcher model updates are required. HP-based breath and healing strength are normalized. In-game visual and combat confirmation remains pending.
Player main-job THFs now share Recruit positional freedom for Sneak Attack and Trick Attack. Active Trick Attack automatically directs attack enmity to an eligible party tank, including Trusts; normal ability activation, recasts and consumption remain unchanged. In-game combat confirmation remains pending.
Existing living Recruits now restore HP and MP after their host earns a level-up, waiting for a safe resync when busy. One ready Recruit announces its synced level in party chat; the others refill silently. Ordinary level-sync changes do not grant this refill. In-game confirmation remains pending.
Lioumere no longer heals continuously merely because combat occurs at its spawn point. Full recovery now follows a completed retreat, and movement resumes when it re-engages after returning home. Its retreat and enmity-interruption mechanics remain. Giant Scale was audited as EX-only with a stack size of 12; its reported one-item restriction remains unconfirmed.

Guild Crafting: Visible Item Preview Details
Fixed the selected craft preview so the item description and stats stay visible beneath its name, including equipment level and eligible jobs where available. The preview now fills when choosing search results, material-ready suggestions and alternative recipes; hovering is not required.
The previous update supplied item data and hover tooltips but missed the call that populated the static preview. Selection checks now cover the visible details. No services were restarted.
